Precision Agriculture

What is precision agriculture?

Precision agriculture sees to use new technologies, like drones and NDVI to increase crop yields and profitability while lowering the levels of traditional inputs needed to grow crops. This means more precise measurements so farmers waste less.

How does it work?

We fly over your crops with a drone and make an orthomosaic map from the images. From there we have a very high quality map of your field. Using technologies from the cloud we can then look at like plant health, elevation, and even provide 3-modeling if there is a specific area a farmer would like to look at. We can annotate different areas to watch for, measure distance, area, and volume of whatever might be needed. The best way to get the most out of these reports are weekly reports for direct comparison and loss prevention.

We can also use technologies to count crops, determine stand count, determine plant population, view plant stress, weed analysis, pest analysis, plant disease analysis, water stress analysis (for areas with standing water), and a flowering estimator.
